Use configured supported feeds or permitted video files. You need source access, evaluated detection categories and an agreed reporting period.

Check inputs and processing

Open the configured sources and selected enrichment versions. Confirm feed identity, supported encoding, observation schema, sampling and retention. Do not assume that an uploaded recording and a live stream use the same adapter. Unsupported inputs remain unavailable. MPEG program-stream intake is recorded as skipped. Inspect collection and processing intervals for each feed. Record gaps, delay, image quality limits and frames excluded by workload limits.

Inspect a candidate detection

  1. Open the detection’s evidence reference.
  2. Check source feed, exact source version and observation time.
  3. Open the cited frame, image region or video range.
  4. Compare the category and bounding box with the original segment.
  5. Read the confidence method and any position uncertainty.
A candidate category is separate from verified identity. Repeated frames are not independent corroboration. Track associations across frames or feeds remain uncertain links unless supported by additional evidence. Where metadata positions a frame, inspect the retained coordinate reference and time join. Missing position data does not justify invented geography.

Compare coverage before comparing activity

Check whether each feed covers the relevant place and time. Separate not detected from not observed, not processed and source unavailable. Unequal coverage limits cross-feed conclusions. An inferred routine needs supporting intervals and contrary cases. Missing coverage cannot support a claim that no activity occurred.

Inspect the periodic report

Open the reporting edition and its frozen source selection. Check that every reported pattern links to retained frames or clips and derived evidence. Preserve required evidence before rolling expiry. A citation alone does not retain the source. If required segments have expired, identify the limitation and do not claim independent verification. The human reviewer checks the exact report and segments before publication. Confirm the publication record separately from report generation. For source expiry, use Streaming data and retention. For reporting, use Produce and inspect a daily brief.
