You need access to the selected editions, their exact versions and the supporting evidence. Choose comparable periods from your own retained reports.

Select the comparison

  1. Open the workspace’s report series or retained artefacts.
  2. Select the reporting periods and exact versions to compare.
  3. Record scope, evidence cutoff and publication state for each.
  4. Identify missing editions or inaccessible history before asking for an explanation.
A revised version within one edition is different from the next reporting period. Compare approved or published versions deliberately rather than taking whichever draft is newest.

Ask for a source-based comparison

In a permitted workspace investigation, replace the fields in this request:
Compare [edition/version A] with [edition/version B] for [question]. Identify changed claims, confidence and conclusions. Link each material change to report passages and evidence or method changes. Preserve unexplained contradictions.
Check that the selected editions match your request. A comparison can use retained artefacts without a world-model index.

Inspect each material difference

Open cited passages and exact source versions. Keep observation time separate from collection time. Reprocessing one source does not create independent corroboration.

Save the comparison with its limits

Record the selected editions, supported explanations and unresolved differences. State how missing or erased evidence limits verification. Do not rewrite earlier reports or decisions. New conclusions from the comparison need their own version and review before publication. The world-model time filter shows current lists under a selected event or collected-time window. It does not replace this comparison of retained reports. Use Follow a finding to its evidence or Request a review for the next task.
