These pages describe the intended Arc and Vantage update. Interface labels and final availability will be checked against the release build before publication. The update is designed to preserve existing work and access boundaries while adding new ways to investigate and repeat analytical tasks. This page describes the intended continuity. The exact route to earlier work will be confirmed during the release review. ## Arc conversations and projects Your existing conversations, project instructions and files, memory settings, and chat artefacts are part of the upgrade continuity requirements. Artefact identities, versions, references, editing, and exports are to remain available. Existing access boundaries continue to apply. Arc remains the place for ordinary chats and chat projects. Existing agentic conversations are to remain accessible through an authorised workspace experience in Vantage. ## Workspaces and evidence Vantage organises analytical work in workspaces. Collections attach datasets to a workspace; membership alone does not grant every dataset permission or access to source credentials. Existing data, identities, permissions, retained evidence, and recoverable work must survive the upgrade. Project files in Arc remain chat reference material. They do not automatically become Vantage datasets. To bring a selected chat artefact into a workspace, export it from Arc and import it into Vantage. The imported item is a separate artefact. It retains the relevant provenance and classification without exposing the source conversation. ## What to check when you return * Find your existing Arc conversations, projects, files, memory settings, and artefacts. * Find any earlier agentic conversation through the authorised workspace route provided at release. * Check the workspace and dataset access you expect to have. If something is missing, do not work around the access boundary by copying private context into a shared surface. * Inspect any imported artefact before using or sharing it in its new workspace.
